Programme Specification
Programme specifications are 'the definitive publicly available information on the aims, intended learning outcomes and expected learner achievements of programmes of study'. All taught masters programmes available in the UK are described in programme specifications that the institutions must make available for all potential and existing students. Indeed it should be possible to compare the competing strengths of the programmes at different universities by examining their programme specifications. However applicants may feel that they also need to consider the additional information given about the programmes that they will find in the FAQs and programme description to gain a rounded view of what the programmes offer.
You can find the programme specification of the MPhil which includes the language courses MPhil in Modern Japanese Studies (Mode A) and the version of the MPhil with no language course MPhil in Modern Japanese Studies (Mode B).
