Takehiko Kariya, Professor in the Sociology of Japanese Society at the University of Oxford, and Oxford alumna Asako Ishizawa have co-authored a new book entitled 『教え学ぶ技術〜問いをいかに編集するのか』In it they use the Oxford tutorial as a model to explore how to frame, present and debate an argument. By building competency in this area it is hoped readers will become better equipped to think through and present research effectively and to express themselves convincingly - skills that are invaluable in a variety of situations. The book is published by ちくま新書 and is available widely in bookshops and online.
