My first Japan-focused/Covid-related paper has just been published in the Journal of Applied Gerontology.
「日本×コロナ×高齢者×格差」というテーマで書いた論文が、ジェロントロジー分野のジャーナルに掲載されました。
While many studies detect "resilience" among older adults during the Covid-19 pandemic, this paper sheds light on the "resilience divide" (inspired by Prof Kariya's "incentive divide") and argues the importance of paying attention to inequality between the haves and the have-nots. I'm not sure if it's appropriate to publicise my academic work in these tough times, but hope this piece at least contributes to well-being of the disadvantaged somewhere in the world, even a little.
