Dr Akira Shah's latest article, "Decloaking Whiteness: Linguistic and Pedagogical Imperialisms of International Baccalaureate Teacher Education in Japan," has been published Open Access in Anthropology & Education Quarterly by the American Anthropological Association. The paper seeks to further develop a theoretical framework of whiteness, while exploring linguistic and pedagogical inequities of International Baccalaureate (IB) teacher training inside Japanese universities.
