Takehiko Kariya and Jeremy Rappleye have recently published “Education, Equality, and Meritocracy in a Global Age: the Japanese Approach”

My book, co-authored with Jeremy Rappleye at Kyoto University, a long time my research collaborator, has recently been published by Teachers College Press, Columbia University. The title is “Education, Equality, and Meritocracy in a Global Age: the Japanese Approach.”

The eBook version is open access, which you can download free from the website of TC. Of course if you can order a hard copy, we would appreciate, though.

To get the eBook version, here is a brief hint: On the right side of the page you find “Format” of your order. You can choose “EBOOK” to order (don’t worry it’s free), then click the Add to Cart Button. You will follow the instruction and fill in the required information, then you will get the entitlement to download the eBook version. You also need to download Adobe’s Digital Edition to download and read the eBook. I hope you will enjoy reading my recent piece.
